Dr.P.H., Principal Investigator: Assistant Professor, Social and Behavioral Sciences, School of Nursing, UCSF. Dr. Lown is an epidemiologist in the Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences at the School of Nursing. She has been engaged in epidemiologic research on childhood cancer survivors and their families over the past 15 years working within Children’s Oncology Group as a patient advocate, working with colleagues from the Childhood Cancer Survivor Study and working with sibling researchers and advocates. Dr. Lown has national connections with oncologists, oncology nurses, psychooncologists, as well as with patients and families who are impacted by childhood cancer. These connections will be important for dissemination.
